Cooperation a basis for integration

The CBIB project covers countries of the Western Balkans. The beneficiaries of the CBIB project are National Authorities, Joint Management Structures, Local Authorities, Regional Development Agencies, Chambers of Commerce, Universities and Research Institutions, SME Agencies, CSOs and other non profit organizations eligible to apply for funds under the IPA CBC programmes. The first issue of our newsletter under the CBIB II is published today. It brings information on the JTSs for all 8 IPA CBC Programmes among Western Balkan countries, news on the events of regional significance, both organized by CBIB and other organizations, as well as details on the set up and mission of CBIB Phase II.

In the framework of the IPA Cross-Border Programme between the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania 2007-2013 the first Call for Proposals has been launched on June 2nd 2009.

Background: The second training for the potential beneficiaries of IPA cross-border programmes under the CBIB II was organised in Montenegro on 7th and 8th May in Podgorica. The trainings for the potential applicants in Montenegro were originally planned in the agreed Work Plan between the first and the second round of Calls for proposals for the programmes on the internal WB borders.
